An independent, Australian-run buying-guide site — built by one person, with a transparent method.

Topline Finds is operated by Jonothan Roland, an Australian sole trader based in Melbourne, Victoria (ABN registered). The site exists for one reason: to help people make faster, better-informed buying decisions on high-demand products — without the hype, the fake reviews, or the “passive income machine” nonsense.

What I do here

I research and publish buying guides across categories I genuinely use or have spent real time investigating — kitchen, audio, fitness, beauty, home office, pets, outdoor, and smart-home gear. Every guide is written by me. I do not publish AI-generated filler, and I do not accept payment for product placement or positive coverage.

How I choose products

Picks are guided by real demand signals — primarily Amazon Best Sellers rank and sales velocity, which I track on a recurring schedule — combined with category research, spec comparison, and genuine buyer sentiment. A product being popular does not guarantee a recommendation; I weight commission rate, cookie duration, buyer intent, and return risk too. You can read the full method on How It Works.

Honest limits: I have not personally hands-on tested every product on this site. Where I haven’t, recommendations are based on aggregated research, specifications, and Best Sellers data — and I say so. I never publish fake reviews or fabricated star ratings.
